Scope of Application
Home appliances
Steel is used in hundreds of appliances in the home. Fridges, freezers, microwaves, extractor hoods and washing machines all use mild steel. The metal is given layers of coatings and its surface is treated to make the products safe, reliable and long-lasting. It also helps protect against wear and tear, and corrosion.
